Random (plain text) signatures in Apple Mail

Two scripts to generate random signatures in Apple Mail:

1. Perl_IconApple Mail Signature Generator — this script uses Fortune to create as many signatures as you like by creating a new signatures.plist for your Mail app.

To execute the script, all you need to do is drop it into an open Terminal window and type ‘perl mailsig.pl’. The creator rashly offers to provide email support.

2. Mail2iCalBushisms is an AppleScript that will attach a random thought from President George W Bush to the end of your emails. Easy to set up, it comes with clear instructions for installations. The script doesn’t work in Tiger, sadly.

Hi there,

Can you please build an app or plugin for AppleMail that:
* remove the sig by reply (like on usenet)
* put the cursor below the quoted txt and not on top like now

Thx in advance.
